Birmingham Roeper players celebrate after winning a point against Ann Arbor Rudolf Steiner on Tuesday.

   Birmingham Roeper powered past Ann Arbor Rudolf Steiner 3-0 in volleyball action on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Roeper’s Community Center in Bloomfield Hills.

   Roeper beat Rudolf Steiner 25-9, 25-9, 25-5.

  Junior Irena Thomas led Roeper to victory with 15 aces and six digs.

   Junior Rachel Wine had 21 assists. Senior Scarlett Shaya had five service aces and three kills.

   Senior Flawless Gregory had seven digs, three aces, and two kills. Junior Ava Thomas had five aces, four digs, and two kills.

   Roeper travels to Whitmore Lake on Thursday, Sept. 30.
